Forums - Movies & TV - Kong: Skull Island, who else is keen?

On a related note, I can't believe we're getting a MonsterVerse to go with our Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars Universe, DC Expanded Universe, and, shortly, Universal Monster Universe.

Yeah I'm interested to see where they take this unified cinematic universe of Kong and Godzilla. I mean, I know the films they have planned (Godzilla 2 in 2019, Kong vs Godzilla in 2020) but keen to see how they handle them.

Hopefully it turns out to be good. Can't wait for Godzilla vs. Kong.

More into Godzilla, I may catch this on video or stream.

I'm thinking about seeing it this weekend.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

The only monkey-related movie I want to see this summer is the third film of the Planet of the Apes Reboot. The first one was surprisingly good and the second one was even better. Can't wait to see how it ends.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Meh.

Not a Hindleton fan. Also, remove the orange filter, and it doesn't look any better than the PJ movie.

I cannot wait to see this movie, gonna be EPIC.

You're wrong there. The movie was great. The island looks real unlike the one in PJ's movie. It moved quickly and had lots of great visuals.

Though they are hard to compare since they are so different, i definitely preferred Peter Jacksons Kong movie. I found Kong Skull Island to be an okay movie but nothing special.

I'm not really a fan of giant monster movies. They've never caught my attention, but I went to see this one because my friends invited me so why not. It was pretty entertaining though. Good pop corn flick.
