This is pretty much the one reason I would want a PS4..

It's one of the few things that has justified my purchase of a PS4. PS4 has this, Bloodborne and Uncharted IMO.

Good plan! I'm doing the same! Enjoy your vacation.

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

Horizon day one, Zelda...well, if it somehow convinces me its worth $360 to play, maybe second.

If Zelda is the only game you would get the switch for, then no.

Thats really my own issue..... I really really really wanna play Zelda. I always want to play Zelda. But as far as nintendo games go.... its literally the only thing they make that I am interested in. And now recently also xenoblade. So thats two. I can thus say that the list of stuff I can only get from nintendo that I want is growing.

I simply can't justify buying a nintenod console that will currently be nothing more than a Zelda box. But I have a plan..... I may buy it for my nephew on xmas and play zelda on "his" console.I think the NS as a whole will be better suited for him than for me. Buy it, "test out zelda" then pack everything back and give it to him.

I'm also planning to play Horizon, not sure if before Zelda though.

Probably Legend of Zelda, unless Horizon has a price drop before I get the funds to buy a Switch.

Playing Horizon on release.
Might play Zelda on the Wii U emulator or if it doesn´t work well I will wait to see if nintendo ever releases a switch proper home console, without screen and with a regular controller.

I will play Horizon. The game looks amazing and Guerilla have always made games with some of the best gameplay in their genre, talking of Killzone here. Their games don't have good stories so far but that's not what I play games for. I play them for the gameplay and in that regard Guerilla is one of the best developers in the industry. Also I support developers who make games that don't require patches to run well, looking at AC Unity and so many games this generation. Also this game looks amazing and graphics make a difference in how immersive an open world game is and it runs well.

As for Zelda I'm interested in it but I don't have a Wii U and its the only game coming to Switch I'm interested in so I'm not buying one just for Zelda. I'll probably play it if I do get a Switch at any time but not this year.

The PS4 even at launch had more games I wanted four of them. And I bought it in January 2016 when it had twenty to thirty games I wanted at a price that I thought was good. I don't think Switch will get there but I'm interested in it if it gets some more games that I want to play, even games that are already on a PS4 as it does have portability which is a good thing.

Better to play Zelda first so it wont bé hard to go back in visuals quality

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I want to play both but I do not own a PS4 so it's just Zelda for me!
And since I won't be getting a Switch until later this year it will be the Wii U version, which I'm sure will still be great :D
