So, I bought vacation time plus my earned days and now I have like 16 days starting next monday, that means that I have time for one more game before Breath of the Wild and that game will be Horizon Zero Dawn.
I thought about buying the game after breath of the wild, but after the reviews I need to play the game now. Not because I'm hyped or anything like that, I have been on the fence since the beginning because the game looks stunning but I have some concerns about the gameplay. But, the reviews are telling me otherwise and now I don't know what to expect. I'm going to play horizon zero dawn because next week, sadly, everything is going to be a "who has the biggest dick contest"
While Nintendo has more experience, I feel like the balance is fair cause it's their first modern open world, just like Guerilla. I didn't want to compare both games cause I feel like these games are different even if they share open worlds, looting and quests, but that would be common sense and we know that a typical Nintendo vs Sony situation is going to win over common sense. On youtube everything is about sony fanboys saying how horizon is going to be goty and Nintendo fanboys saying how breath of the wild is going to annihilate Sony's new ip, the typical console war.
While I'm biased and I'm pretty sure that breath of the wild is going to dominate in terms of substance, I am a biased zelda fan... so I need to play the other game to form a coherent opinion and to be surprised if guerilla did something better in terms of gameplay, because metacritic doesn't mean shit even if zelda has the typical 90+. Fanboyism doesn't kill my judgement, proof? a week after skyward sword ( i love skyward sword) I was playing skyrim and saying Bethesda does what Nintendon't.
So, who's in the same situation? who wanna play both games to compare the gameplay mechanics and overall experience before entering the "opinions war"
