Then go for Dragon Quest 9 I guess, lol.

- Fire Emblem Awakening: It's kind of RPG? And it's a pretty fun game overall.
- Bravely Default
- Pokemon Sun/Moon
- Shin Megami Tensei 4 or AMT Apocolypse
- Fantasy Life
- One Etrian Oddyssey game
- Oh yeah, can't believe I forgot Stella Glow. Also great Tactics RPG.

Fire Emblem is a SRPG, of course it's a RPG! XD

Anyway, thanks, will look up this Azure Striker one.

I wasn't sure if you were fine with Tactics games, as some RPG fans only prefer one type and not all of them, so I wasn't sure if I should recommend it.

Also, if you like Mega Man style games and want a new take on it, Azure Striker may be worth trying out.

Tales of the Abyss (Pretty good Tales game)

You like Disgaea right? The Fire Emblem series should be right up your alley.

Also as an addendum to the comment above, if you never played the N64 games, just play the 3DS ones, the framerate of the original has not stood the test of time.

Just my personal recommendations
-A Link Between Worlds
-Smash 3DS
-Boxboy
-Super Mario 3D Land
-Majora's Mask/Ocarina of Time (if you never played them before)

Of course, not all are RPGs - but I find 3DS better for short, casual play sessions. To me, holding the 3DS for hours to play a big RPG just hasn't stuck with me- even for really great RPGs like Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and Xenoblade (even though I've enjoyed both of those, despite the 3ds form factor)



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Besides blox boy, I'm not really enjoying that much the 3DS I bought in november.

The games aren't bad, but they aren't great either. None of them are the best in their respective series, or groundbreaking, or innovative in terms of gameplay.

People are complaining that the PS4/ONE/PC don't bring anything new to the table, but seriously, Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Kart 7, Mario Tennis, Zelda ALBW and everything else on 3DS didn't push gaming further at all.

What a boring, underpowered and lazy system... I'm going to finish a few games more and then I'll sell it.
