My first rpg I own on the 3ds was Tales of Abyss I know it's a port but still good. Project X Zone.

Congrats, awesome handheld! I'm from Argentina, so I know how expensive Nintendo games can be here in the south. I strongly recommend the dragon Quest games, 7 and specially 8, both awesome. Luigis mansion 2 is fantastic, kid icarus as well, but the dragon Quest are really really good.

Bralewd joined the 3DS Master Race :D

If you like strategy or tactical RPGs, I highly recommend any of the Fire Emblem (which you are probably aware of based on your OP), or SMT Devil Survivor games, particular Fates: Conquest or the Devil Survivor 2 remake. Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker is my personal favorite game on the system.

For other RPGs, my personal favorites include Stella Glow, VFD Seventh Dragon, and Tales of the Abyss and Dragon Quest VIII if you never played them on PS2. Im very hot-cold about the Bravely games, but I'd recommend reading up to see if the issues bother you. The first game is the only time I can think when I rated a game 9/10 after 30 hours, and a 6/10 after 40 hours. The Second one is better, but still has some tedious sections.

- Fire Emblem Awakening: It's kind of RPG? And it's a pretty fun game overall.
