I think the story of the Somali immigrants who are fleeing to the Canadian border and trying to cross over in freezing temperatures (the one guy losing several fingers) is more notable.

That's just sad, people being chased out of a civilized country like that because they fear being deported to a crap hole. It's immoral IMO, to have zero concern. If they are terrorists or drug dealers, fine let them be vetted properly, but a lot of what's happening is gross. These are human beings, not dogs, and even a lot of people would be angry to treat a dog like that (would you leave a dog outside in minus 20-30 Celcius in the dead of the night?).

Not a good look America. Yes, yes we need to have a more sensible immigration policy, but forcing people already here into freezing temperatures and tearing apart families ... this is not the way to do it and I think history will look back at this chapter in history with shame.

Over here in germany, we might witness a dramatic rise in faked hate crimes this year.

We've already had quite a number of cases over here where people falsely invented crimes commited by "Nazis". But such incidents are probably going to significantly increase this year, since some german states have introduced a ridiculous bill:

If an illegal immigrant, whom the authorities have decided on that he does not have a right of residence in germany, gets attacked by right-wingers, he gets the permit to stay.

That's about the dumbest idea I've ever heard of! Ask yourself: Why do such a big percentage of "refugees" falsely claim that they are underage or coming from certain countries like Syria? Simple, because it increases their chances of being allowed to stay and even get their left behind families. I'd do just the same if I were them!

So, what do you think will happen if immigrants decided upon to be here illegally are allowed to stay if they can convince that they became the victims of right-wingers? It's hardly rocket science to understand that this gives illegal immigrants an extremely strong incentive to provoke or simply fake hate crimes...

Minnesota contains the second most Somalis in the world- Somalia has the most (obviously).

They aren't bad people at all- when I see people get concered about Shariah law overtaking America and whatnot, they tend to overestimate the people. Not all of them are part of ISIS. Heck, a lot of them are quite lax with religion. They live life like anyone else, just with some Islam and Somalian culture mixed into it. 

Disappointing how we are fine with treating fellow human beings so horribly.
