No it's not, so it does not get funding from the EU to secure its border,  it has done more to slow this migration movement than most much larger and well funded EU countries, Macedonia saved counries further North a lot of grief will little recognition and help, EU or not, actually inspite of the EU which wanted open borders

The EU does not want open borders from outside the EU, they want open borders within the EU. So, they are not against control for border countries that are not part of the EU.

You will find this interesting

Taking in too many refugees and turning the local population against them is a recipe for long term problems.

The majority of rapes are perpetrated by someone the victim knows, which could make it much more difficult to come forward due to threats, pressure or stigma. The Cologne incident was about 50/50 Germans and immigrants, so that may have contributed to a shift in numbers. Of course, I could be wrong, but it seems logical to me:

All you're doing is jumping ship, from sinking ship to sinking ship. I was specifically talking about the article that you linked, but apparently you didn't read it.

And again you can't compare the numbers of oktoberfest to cologne.

OK, so which events are on the "allowed to be compared" list?

Well, it is a convenient scapegoat I guess. Things are starting to go south, so they bring in a lot immigrants and then use the correlation as causation in order to deflect from the ineptitude/greed/whatever-you-want-to-call-it of the politicians and the bourgeoisie.

Yeah VGchartz wont let them work, just copy and paste it

She's specifically referring to Germany's borders. Out of the countries that border Germany, only Switzerland is not part of the EU. And most migrants didn't go through Switzerland to get to Germany.

But Germany open borders put a lot of pressure on Macedona, believe it or not Macedonia was critised for closing its borders, Macedonia was not happy with Germany and the EU generally

So according to you Germany and Sweden put on control and limits on refugees because numbers were going down.

I think it makes more sense that by putting limits and controls the number willing to come to those countries has gone down.

Or maybe your just that stupid?

we (Germany) stopped taking in high quantities of refugees, because our german population showed drastic spikes in hate crimes and voters drifted towards extreme right parties

a number of the ~1.5 million refugees we host were ofcourse involved in crime (much to the delight of right wing parties and the gutter press), a few even in rape or murder (mostly against other refugees), but generally their criminal statistics aren't alarmingly higher than the local populace, especially when compared to people living in similar economic situations

the famous case of the 2016 new years rapings in cologne was disgusting, repulsive and can't be condenmend enough, but it was also mostly orchestrated by north african migrants (north africans in germany unfortunately show a significantly higher crime rate) and the Police did well to analyze what/how/why this happened and prevented similar occurrences this year - I'm sure every police force in germany will plan mass events with that in mind for years/decades to come, to ensure everyone's and especially every woman's safety as well as possible (without devolving into a police/surveillence state)

Yeah dude, migrants commit the same amount of crime as Germans.

Nothing is comparable to cologne, that's the point...

That's because immigrants are poorer than the average German:

I read the article, but I don't know if it said what Germany exactly told Macedonia. It sounds like Macedonia's mad at Germany for something, but the specifics are not there.

You again didn't bother to read the article and look at the statiscitcs, and to see the 80 percent increase between 2014 and 2015.

And no shit if the refugees were living in mansions, with thousands of dollar and gold diggers going after them, they woudn't need to commit crime woudn't they?
