So according to you Germany and Sweden put on control and limits on refugees because numbers were going down.

I think it makes more sense that by putting limits and controls the number willing to come to those countries has gone down.

Or maybe your just that stupid?

No, what I'm saying is that they don't have to take in as many people because there aren't as many people to take in.

So if the limitations for refugees are returned back to they were before, the border control are gone and an open invite is encouraged...

There would be no change in refugee flow from what it is now?

yeah.... you guys are losing this arguement badly

The war continues, many die and many escape from war...its just we have shut our doors...

With a Syrian Population of 23 million people, you'd think their woudn't be any peopel to take in...

It's not like Syrians want to leave their homes. They've lived their lives in Syria, they know the language and culture better, they have family and memories there, and they know that by moving that they'll have to learn a new language and new customs while simultaneously being hated by a large number of people and having to deal with homesickness. It's like so many people here have no sympathy at all for the refugees.

It probably wouldn't be the same as it is now, but it also probably wouldn't be the same as it was in 2015. 2015 was an unprecedented event in the history of the European Union, it was not the norm.

and it should never happen again as luckily people like you are no longer in charge of the debate.

Reason and logic and security should dictate refugee policy.

Yes because they would rather be next door to neighbhours to isis, have no job, a limited supply to food water/shelter/electricity/healthcare and be stuck in a warzone instead of going to a welfare state. They have a much better chance of survival by staying in a land which is part of an international conflict that seemingly has no end!

Having sympathaty for refugees doesn't change the fact, that they have caused issues in Europe, and being refugees doesn't excuse that.

Yep, your bias has shone through. We already established previously that the way Sweden counts rapes is different from other countries. And before you say that it's the UN who determined the numbers, it says in the title that it's the police who count the numbers, so the UN is just compiling their statistics, not counting it themselves.

Unfortunately for you that still doesn't explain the disparity in why Sweden is 2.5 times more to report rape per capita than the United States ...

A person in Sweden is practically 3 times more likely to report rape than most of it's european neighbors!

Yes, it's extreme circumstances that made them decide to escape the war. If the only reason they moved was to have a good life in the welfare state, why wouldn't they have moved on-masse in 2004, when many of the Eastern European countries joined? Why did it take 11 years for them to do so?

Regardless of whether or not there is a problem with immigration in Sweden (I don't really know) there is simply no event that happened on Friday that matches that description.

It's just false. And whatever you believe the reason behind it to be (Trump being misinformed, misspeaking, being insane, or just being dumb) there's no way it is true. And, the president of the United States should be expected to be more accurate. He's not working at McDonald's. What he says and how he says it is important.

Because what constitutes a rape is different in Sweden than what it is in the United States and other European countries. You can't just compare the data and call it a day. You have to take the different methodoligies into account.

Sexual assault of 100's of women at once never happened in modern German history before uncontrolled immigration.
