"Migrants will assimilate like they always do". They won't if they are with too much though. Some countries such as Sweden and Germany have taken in a lot of immigrants, so I think they need to slow it down a bit. Sadly, other countries like the US, do nothing while they could have taken millions of immigrants.

I'm not saying that immigrants in general are bad people. But when a country is in trouble, and people emigrate, most of the 'bad guys' will emigrate too.
So the percentage of people who could commit crimes is higher among immigrants.

I totally agree with you on Trump though. Populists always blame a certain minority for all the problems that society has. Hitler blamed Jews, Trump blames Muslims (and immigrants in general).

Actually, populists blame the financial elite and politicians corrupted by the financial elite for their problems, not minorities, minorities are people too. Who blame people based on ethnicity or sex or whatever, are not populists but fascists.

Just take a look what's happening in Europe, the populists are blaming the banks for financial crisis and politicans who've been bailing the banks out with the taxpayers money, at the same time the red-green/alt/anarchistic left is blaming white people for the problems. These feminists are the fascists you're calling out, not populists.

Well, as a left-anarchist, I can assure you that I put the blame in the financial elite and politicians. Also, most feminists that get mainstream attention are liberal feminists, who have different goals and motivations than socialist feminists.

This is what sets fox news apart from other news outlets who manipulate facts to fit their political agenda. CNN will leave out details or ignore events that go against their agenda. Fox news will outright make things up until it fits their political agenda. CNN you can deal with simply by using multiple sources. Fox news is just made up and there's really nothing to glean from it at all.

Of course, anarchism is on the left, and I see you flag for anacho-communism. Anyway, I mentioned the anarchism, because it's very different left from socialistic, communistic and social-democratic left we've had in Europe for the last hundred years.
