Ironically, Swedish newspapers are spending a lot more time and text on Trump's moronic statements than the huge riots in Stockholm last night.

But, no, there was no terrorist act, Sweden isn't really a nation where this is an issue. There are known areas that have recruited young men into IS, but actual terrorist attacks in the country are more or less unheard of.

That said; I wish Swedes would start actually solving their problems instead of shouting on SVT about whose fault it is to begin with, it's quite condescending of upper middle class whites in the safe areas to sit and presume that so long as nationwide happiness and educational indexes are flat or slightly up, they can gloss over societal issues which will only get worse with time.

You do know that Christianity refers to both the new AND old testament, right? Where slavery is allowed, babys are carved out if a womans body, gays are stoned along with women who cheated on their husbands. Where gods strikes you down if you work on a Sunday?

You clearly do not understand CHRISTianity.

Christianity is a religion that was formed around Jesus and the New Testament. The old testament is basically just a history book showing what the world and stuff was like before Jesus change it all.

In the old Testament there were all these strict rules and punishments, sacrifices, ect, so on and so forth. But Jesus came and basically rewrote everything and boiled it down to just 1 rule. Love thy neigbor as thyself. And then he gave his life so that everyone could basically go to heaven.

Anyone who brings up an old testament quote to describe a christian does not understand christianity. That goes for those who proclaim themselves christians too.

So, if God is supposed to be omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, how did he screw up so much that he had to create an entirely new authoritative text?

But it's supposed to be the word of God. The fact of the matter is, the Bible promotes violence just like the Quran. Also, the claim that the Old Testament doesn't count makes no sense when in the New Testament there are references towards fulfilling the Old Testament:

Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

5:18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

5:19 Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
