Yeah, man. Literally the first thing he says in the video.

Honestly, at this point I'm just waiting for someone to give it a 7 or 8, and watch a bunch of people get furious about the metascore going down by one point.

These scores are forum fodder, an excuse to talk about something on these forums.

GTA 5 taught me rave reviews doesn't mean a good game so I'm looking forward to the only score that matters: my own.

Yeah,  I don't really care that much myself, but I find it quite entertaining to watch people go completely off the rails because a game they like got a lower score than they expected everyone to give it. You could call them the loud minority.

When a website like Gamespot gives a Nintendo game (they usually always score Nintendo games lower scores than everyone else) a perfect score and then says it's the greatest game they have ever created... it's worth paying attention. This isn't just a game getting high praise, this is something more.

I personally only give credit to the metascore if the metascore and user score (if there's enough of a sample size) are somewhat close.  Like, for GTAV, the meta is 97 and the user score averages to an 81. That's way too much of a gap for me to trust the metascore.

Only 1 hour left

Was hoping to finish Nioh before the Switch, but the game never ends...

I'm not saying the game doesn't deserve the critical acclaim it's getting. Personally I think Breath of the Wild looks great. I'm talking more about that small subsection of fans who'll get furious if/when someone gives their new favourite game a less than stellar score. It happened with Twilight Princess, Uncharted 4, many of the Halo games, and many others.

Not sure if this was posted yet, but it was a very good review from Forbes.com

https://www.forbes.com/sites/games/2017/03/02/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-review-one-game-to-hyrule-them-all/#73ed2b92703d

I'm not sure how to embed the video, so if anyone does feel free to repost it.

Not that it really matters at this point but I did some calculating to see if the average reviews are true to the 98%. Turns out it's just barely at 98%, by getting 97.52% with the 61 current reviews averaged, so hey game reviewers! Give this game a 0 so it'll drop down to a 95 so my prediction stays true!

nice

Amazing result. Now Nintendo Switch has a title that's 10/10 recommended, but the console itself is mostly a "wait and see".
