It will most likely be nominated, but has almost no chance of winning IMO.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Dragons age won 134 goty awards with a similar meta score Doom won 29 goty awards with a 85 vs Uncharted 4 which took home 159 goty awards it will win at least 1 or more awards will it be the undisputed goty only time will tell, the last guardian won 14 so I am sure Horizon can do it.

It might get nominated at the Game Awards, but I doubt it will win. It's much more likely Zelda will take that spot.

Waaaayyyyy too early to even begin making predictions on something like this. Maybe once we get close to the holiday season and we know how Zelda, Nier, Mass Effect, Persona, and whatever surprises this year has in store scored. There's too many unknowns at this point to make anything beyond a highly uninformed guess.
