Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Opinion: Next week we are getting Switch Direct

Switch is launching in less than 2 weeks and we still don't know anything about things like Virtual Console games or Switch OS and capabilities on launch, and we dont have official update on launch and some other Switch games. So I definatly expecting next week Switch Direct where we will get infos and updates for those things and some other others.

It would be the obvious thing for them to do, but its Nintendo, so I dont know...

I dont think so. If I were them I would release one when they do have more stock of them.

Probably won't be Virtual Console at launch.

Opinion? It's a damn necessity at this point, they can't be withholding information this close to launch, it's getting ridiculous.

^ this.

Its not really a question imo. Its a thing they should do and most likely will do, so I agree with the OP.

My guess: there won't be any hidden secrets, so everything they haven't talked about yet, like VC, will NOT be included at launch.

If it would have been included, there is no reason to not brag around with it.

They better, there's plenty to talk. Or at least there should be, days before a launch.

Our current order in the West is dominated by capitalism on the economic level, but socialism on the cultural level (also called Cultural Marxism).

As a doctor I bathe in money, but I am not allowed free speech. It is sick. Our society is sick to the core.

So anything that disrupts the cultural near total domination of the left is good. Stronger polarization, a clash of civilizations and increased awareness among the populace about political issues are all things that benefit me as a conservative traditionalist and democrat.

And there's a lot of disruption and backlash for the leftists going on in the world right now. Many leftists are nervous right now, just see the desperate tone in the reactions against Trump's press conference.

Yes, both of these. Wich makes me think Nintendo is not going to do it. They are going to announce online closer to the app launch when they're nice and ready. With VC it depends if they intend on allowing people to carry over their library or not. They'll either ignore it until the first VC games drop at regular price or maybe there will just be some pop-up on the eshop explaining your 'upgrade fee'.

Yeah i doubt it. Nintendo has gotten this far without answering any of the many many questions, why would they suddenly care a week before?

Plus they probably don't actually have many answers. At least not many. The console clearly seems rushed so it make sense.

I am just hoping for answers by the time E3 comes around.

Maybe beacuse thats their plan?

There is lots a staffy to talk or show that they did not until now.
