Forums - Gaming Discussion - Recommend me some good iPhone games

Tagged games:

Being an Android user for years and shunning all things Apple (I even gave Windows phones a shot before iPhones) I was telling my wife a couple months ago I might buy an iPhone just to try it. She surprised me on Valentines Day with a 6S. So I ask, what are some good games?

I am a fan of any genre. I would prefer games that are not money pits. I bought A Dark Room, it's pretty great.

Lara Croft GO is worth checking out IMO. I'm pretty sure it's on sale right now. Fire Emblem Heroes is worth trying out too.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Just browse through the 90+ or 85+ games, there is a lot of good stuff:

World of Goo is the top game on that list. List invalidated.

I'm currently playing Fire Emblem Heroes a lot and I'm having a blast, it's SOOOOO good

I'd like to know some goods ones as well. Mobile games used to be better back in the day but now they're all pay to win. I remember Dungeon Hunter I and II and games like those. They had story and gameplay. So much so that they were ported to console. Now it's very rare to find mobile games that can do that. Everything now is free to play and pay to win. Anyway, I'll recommend you a good ones: Cartoon Network Soccer and Ember. Both really fun and Ember has a good story.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

The Wii version of World of Goo also got a MetaScore of 94: http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii/world-of-goo

The expectations for a good mobile game, WiiWare game and many indie games were very low until 2014 or 2015, so you can subtract 10% of the score of most of these games.

I own WoG the Wii. It's a good game.

I'll check out FEH.

Geometry Dash (also available on Steam and Android. The full version costs 2$, but the lite version has almost as many levels as the full version), Chameleon Run (costs 2$ on Android, but it's free on iOS for the rest of the week, so get it while you can).
