-All the manuals seem to be digital. They will probably only be available digitally. Not really a good or bad thing, just a note worthy detail.

No it IS a bad thing, how can no physical manual not be bad! Those days are gone and it's sad!

No unexpected surprises shown.

Same I miss getting Manuals. They added to the value on a $100 AUD purchase.
Falcon 4.0 Flight Simulator manual came in a binder. Haha

I guess going digital helps cut costs and bolster profits, plus games undergo significant changes from their debut these days thank's to patches and DLC, hard to go back and edit something that is printed... So I can understand why it's not a thing anymore.

Glad to see the OS being nowhere near as sluggish as the Wii U.

I hope to see more options and whatnot soon.

Must be running a very lean version of Android I would think! Hardware has eclipsed software in the mobile space a long time ago, so even moderate hardware feels quick and snappy.

It looks like the OS is rushed. If that's the case, Nvidia could made some version for testing purposes which was used as a basis UI. It would make a lot of sense if it were true.

It's very bare-bones at the moment. But every console starts out the same. The original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 took time for their platforms to mature and bring us apps and features via updates.

Yup. I mean, for 30 years I've been enjoying that... smell. Nintendo's manuals had that fresh Nintendo smell. Nothing else compares!

Here's a look at the profile pic/Mii menu.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Yes, Nintendo, Nintendo should have already presented the OS, the eshop, the Virtual Console, the online, etc etc. That things is out in two weeks.

heh, it sounds kind of crazy when you say it like that. It's only 2 weeks away and yet there is still so much we don't know. Why Nintendo? Why?

I guess NIntendo know that early buyers would buy anything with a Nintendo logo on it anyway. I mean, the launch line up is only 5 games, western third party support is abysmal, next big game comes out in summer, and still, the pre orders are out of stock.

I think the VC is not ready for launch, I think the online multiplayer will be barebones at launch and probably will start being fleshed out with Mario kart 8 and ARMS. and then go full mode when then start asking for money and Splatoon 2 is released.

As for the OS and eshop, I just think Nintendo doesn't understand that it is important to communicate about those...

It's pretty nice and snappy so far, the sound effects are also kind of cute. Hopefully it doesn't slow down too much in the future when they add more features.

They finally support full range RGB. Thank goodness.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
