Neither. There really isn't enough at launch to justify a Switch if you have a Wii U, and the Pro is still a PS4. There's no rush really.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

This might be one of the dumbest polls I've seen here, OP you already have a PS4, get the Switch, the Pro is not even REAL 4k, to me is a waste of money. I do own a regular PS4 and a Wii U and I'm toootaly getting the Switch.

Don't buy either currently and wait for price drops. $400 is not worth it to play games you could already play with slightly better resolution.

Nintendo Switch Cons: More expensive. Only 1 game I'm interested in at launch. SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE and not getting stocked up until April. Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (I own on Wii U), Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade and all other games I'm interested in is NOT releasing anytime soon. 

Come to think of it. I think the Pro is the better option. But what do you guys think? If you were me, what would you get?    

Go with the Pro, buy the Switch next year when the console+zelda/splatoon 2 are cheaper and us beta testers have ironed out all the teething problems, win win?

Also, since you have a WiiU, you could just buy Zelda for that.

neither one is a bad system, but it'd be as dumb of a decision as getting a N3DS when your current 3DS is working just fine. PS4 -> Pro isn't really worth it, and it'll stay like that until the Pro goes below 400 or gains more noticeable bumps. As for the Switch, no reason to jump into it head first. Nintendo is releasing games steadily- BotW, Arms, Mario, Xenoblade 2, fire emblem, and the list goes on- notice how not buying the system right away will not kill you. You'll just be able to gain the benefit of more software, improved OS, and a potential price drop.

Bruh, but you're getting a Switch no matter what!


Besides you already have a PS4 right? Why not get something new. Not to mention we might even see the PS5 in holiday 2018. Last I heard it's still on the 2018 release table in terms of investor planning. That can of course see a delay but with the Scorpio rumoured to be a full next gen system with full backwards compatability now. I can see Sony sticking with that time table. They aint going to let Microsoft take a big lead on them lol.


Besides. Breath of the Wild and there's rumors that we might see Metroid at E3. Buy a Switch and this badass will see you later! What more could you ask for? ;)

Never buy a Nintendo home console at launch... at least the newer ones. It will be better to wait 1 year before buying a Switch. The Pro is clearly the better option.
