82 is pretty respectable. The gameplay is great from what I've read. Short campaign, 1 blitz map hurting its scores.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Cannot deal with short campaigns, may be interested otherwise. Unless you can create your own campaigns, like in some strategy games.

Ya only 12 missions. Around 8 hrs. If u buy the ultimate edition it comes with campaign dlc missions. High replayability it seams. But no making ur own campaign.

85 though I wouldn't buy it even if it gets 90+. RTS isn't for me.

I've never played an RTS.  I'm considering trying this one out. A score of 90+ would likely push me over the edge. Even the upper 80s would probably  make me buy it . Below 80, and I will almost certainly pass.  It's that 80-85 range where l'm going to have a hard time deciding.

Unfortunately, it looks like it is falling right in that  good but not great range.

There are still 5 reviews to go so its possible that it could hit 83.

1. The bold is bullshit. Gaming media is a difficult field to get into and doesn't pay that well. Nobody would do it if they didn't love video games.

2. You complain about cinematic games getting good reviews and then say that Windows Central is your favorite publication because they "Actually like games for trying to be games" When the gave both Abzu and Virginia good scores? (4.5 and 4 respectively)

1. Bullshit. Most of these reviewers probably wanted to review movies, but couldn't get into that industry so they went to video game industry. And in all honesty no reviewer outside the big ones are making money in any industry.  Also check this vid out regarding polyhacks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3pQ0oO_cDE. Believe me there is more. Angry Joe for example apparently used AUTO AIM for uncharted 4 lol.

2. I never said they didn't give good reviews to movie/cinnematic based games. They respect cinnematic/movie based games too, but they appreciate games for being games firstmost and story gets the back seat which a lot of games get flack for. You can litterally have a shit game with a decent story and get a free pass/ get good reviews. However, if you have good gameplay, but a shit story you will get huge deductions.

I don't want to drag the thread too off topic but real quick.

1.  Not being good at a game =/= not a gamer.

2. That is demonstrably not true. Doom, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, God of War, Halo 5, nearly all racing, fighting, Nintendo games, and 2D platformers. All of those have stories that are vague, bad, or nonexistent and yet they all are well reviewed in their own regard.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

LMAO, Snoopy already cracking out the 'cinematic experience' excuse? 82 is not a bad score at all, sheeeesh!
