Definitely getting this day one. I love that they are keeping everything pretty much the same as the original, but improving the visuals greatly. Not that something like the R&C reboot can't work, but I think it's a little harder to capture that CB magic like the first 3 did. They should also think about remastering Jak & Daxter like this. Also wouldn't mind CTR.

This is looking really good! Here's hoping that's it's a timed exclusive and it comes to other platforms later on.

Highly doubtful.  From the sounds of the announcement, this is a partnership with Activision.  Which probably means Sony is the one spending the most on these reboots, as I doubt Activision wanted much to do with Crash, besides maybe throwing him into some of their other games.  A PC release may be possible, but doubt anything else.

Jak and Daxter reworked as a HD smaller scale 'indie style' release would be pretty cool.

A shame that Sony lets some seriously classic IP sit idle. They have shown themselves to be aware though with the return of classic IP so hopefully that trend continues with their more niche franchises like dare I say... Legend of Dragoon?

This looks so beautiful. That is one of the two things PS4 needs to convince me to buy one. The other thing won't happen (a Twisted Metal 5 or sequel to the reboot with better controls, the 2012 reboot was the reason why I bought a PS3 in the first place). But still, how I wish I could play this thing. Sadly, I don't believe it will be just timed-exclusive.

Lol, now you've done it.  Not long before BraLoD responds.  Though, I do share in his passion of getting a LOD remake.  It doesn't have to be as fully invested into as FF7:R, but some upgraded visuals would be nice.  And if that does well, then a sequel that pushes the visuals even more.

A new Twisted Metal would be great.  Though, I would like either a remake, or sequel to, TM:B.  I thought the 2012 one was pretty fun, but had two MAJOR flaws.

One, it focused WAY too much on the vehicles and not enough on the people driving them.  I admit it was kind of neat to drive to a garage and switch out your cars, but that's not what made Twisted Metal great.  What made it great was the wildly different characters who all had varied backstories and endings you wanted to see.  And the cars were made to fit those personalities.  Unfortunately, you only got 3 playable characters in the '12 version, which was incredibly disappointing.

And two, those races were FUCKING ANNOYING!!  If your game engine or the navigation system isn't exactly suited for races, don't freaking shoehorn them in.  The first or second weren't too bad, though still somewhat frustrating, but once the environments got more complicated, that simple shitty arrow was not enough to keep track of where you were supposed to go.  I never finished story mode all the way through because of the last race.  The car combat was fun, though.

At first I thought so too, but there's some stuff going on that makes me think otherwise:

- Sony isn't publishing the game.

- No mention of exclusivity by either Sony or Activision so far (I know it's only been announced for PS4, but that doesn't guarantee it's exclusive, could very well be timed or Sony has exclusive marketing for it).

- There was that "Unmissable PS4 Exclusives for 2017" video from Sony a while back that showed tons of games, but Crash was oddly missing.

- No "Only on PlayStation" logo on the boxart.

Of course all of this could just be wishful thinking on my part (It likely is), but until there's official confirmation that it's exclusive, I'll still keep some hope =P

Holy f*ck these screenshots look amazing, most anticipated game this year!!! Can't wait to buy this masterpiece!!!

Now just give me some Crash Bandicoot 3 (best one of the trilogy imo) footage, please Sony!
