Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Zelda: Breath of the Wild getting paid DLC (new hard mode/new dungeons/new story)

Well, it was time that Nintendo embraces season passes in their main franchises. Tbh, I'm used to it now so it doesn't really surprise me, which is a bit sad.

What. The. Fuck.
Hard mode behind a paywall? New dungeon? New piece of story? How this game can be still unfinished in 2017?

Didn't like the idea behind season passes from Hyrule Warriors,
so
I will wait to judge until I see the full final DLC details this holiday season.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Why are people mad that they get to play an additional Zelda story during the holiday?

It finally looks like this will be the most interesting holiday since 2013, at least for me.

$20, that's one hour of work guys...

No reason for the locked hard mode imo, I'm fine with the rest of the dlc

Wait a minute! Is this a locked out Hard mode all together or a NEW extra Hard mode. The description doesn't seem to be clear about this.

Does the original game has a regular hard mode ...?

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Hard Mode DLC eh?

Meh...

Hard mode should be free, even if it's released as a DLC later.

Not interested in the rest, though (actually, neither interested in the hard mode, I'm a noob and don't like to replay games...)

I think people are mad about hard mode, which is definitely understandable. I hope it could be unlocked in-game though.

seriously... locking a difficulty mode behind DLC is just all sorts of bullshit.
