I have both already and like many on this post I don't use my PS3 much (I have not touch it in 3 weeks). I do use it to play blu-ray movies, but I have only one game a the moment (Uncharted). I played & did not like RFOM, HS, Folklore or Lair. I might get DMC4 just to give it some love.

I think I have one now because I was a PS2 owner (I never owned a Xbox) and like madskillz said I am treating it as an investment for when the real games I want come to it (MGS4, FFXIII, GOW, etc.)

Honestly, I should have waited for another price drop and got it for $100 less.

I have 360 (best console, a sh**load of games!)
I have A gaming PC (of sorts, good games player though)

you can find pretty decent DLP on ebay for nothing when you look at the size of your screen..... just check it out

Ummm... rear-projection, including DLP is on its way out.  Not a good investment.

I'm a 360 owner at university so it just wouldn't make sense for me to get a ps3, swapping one for the other would be more sensible but i'm pretty happy with what the 360 has to offer me while i complete my studies. Once i get out of uni next year then i think i will get one as it will probably be cheaper, and the games list will be more substantial so yeh... im pretty excited by that!

If you go to www.consumerreports.com or get a copy from barnes and noble and it will show that LCD hdtv's(SONY or SAMSUNG) is the top rated type hd tv to own. So i don't know where you get your info from. It costs way less to fix a lcd hd tv than a plasma hd tv if it needs repair,also.

PS360 for the win, lol! if you love shooters and online multiplayer and hd video then buy both!

p.s. i also have an hd tv! games look godly and its only a small one (15inch)

I have no need for a ps3 and most games are released on both. If I were to buy another console it would be the wii. But since my brother already owns one I don't need a second console.

 

However I might get one in the future for watching movies if it remains cheaper then a dedicated player. But honestly I'd rather a dedicated movie player.

Has anyone done reasearch on the progress of work for those games.  SOny got owned by the judgment.  They were too proud and got knocked of their high horse.  They can't even teach people how to make games for them efficiently.
