Forums - Gaming Discussion - I hardly buy games at full retail price. Do you?

Only if it's a game I want to play at launch now that the price for big name games are $80 cdn +tax. Usually I'll wait for it when it goes on sale on Steam,

Yes when they are worth it and lately there has been many of those.

Never.
Can't really afford to and still buy the number of games I want to.

About half the time, I buy at full price. t's usually games I want to play right away.

The rest I wait for them to go on sale.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Only Nintendo games, because they never drop.

Most of the time I do, but to be fair, there aren't that many games that I care about so i don't feel the burden on my wallet

Quite often on retail but with my backlog and limited amount of time to play I should really save my dollars. I have no issue paying full price for BotW as i will forget about all else once that game is in my grubby hands.

When it comes to digital I almost never pay full price. The only exception to that i can think of was Mortal Combat XL for the PS4. I think I paid $60 for it only because my girlfriend said "Mortal Combat is my shit" and the only other thing we really played together was Gauntlet which got old kinda quick.

I mostly do. But now im trying to change that.

Pocky Lover Boy!

A lot.

But i pay 54 dollars, because i'm in the UK.

I pay full price for games that I think deserve it and for games that might need the extra help. Otherwise I wait for deals and pay much less.
