Nahhh, Zelda games ALWAYS get 90+. I don't think there has ever been a Zelda game that fell below a 90. In fact, the lowest rated Zelda game is a 93. BOTW is almost guaranteed a 95 at the least. I'm no Zelda fan, I beat 2 games in the series, TP and OoT but facts are facts!

so Last gurdian, Gravity rush, Yakuza zero, Nioh, Horizon, all games has score above 80 and all are back to back exclusives!
Where all those laughable reviews like the Usgamer ? what happen? (i have many years to visit metacritic)

I know, I know LMFAO but I pretty much feel like a little kid at a candy store again right about now. I've been psyched for this game and now I can't help but be more psyched than ever due to the praise it's getting. Especially considering it's said to have a well written story - THANK THE HEAVENS for that as that was my biggest concern. The fact that some of my favourite films are tribal/Indian type movies like Apocalypto and Dances with Wolves and that this game reminded me of that in some sense I knew this HAD to be great or else I'd be incredibly disappointed.

Man, this is going to be the easiest purchase I will make on a game. I seriously cannot wait until the 28th dammit!! :D

Congrats, Guerrilla. I'm glad they were able to put the fears to rest after people constantly second guessing them for freakin' Killzone: Shadowfall. They should be proud of their efforts. Once again, this game is one of many that makes this a kickass year for gaming. This song's for you, GG.

Nope, metacritic is not a simply average, different sites scores are given different weights, so it's pretty much impossible to take or add something to it and be mathematically backed up making a right guess about it.

Yeah, but I can make my own average. I will add up all the scores and divide it by the total sum and then you will get an accurate average. Weighted reviews are dumb. why should one opinion be worth more than another? It just makes no sense and ruins the numbers I say. A review is a review, no matter what. Those weighted blahblahblah mean nothing to me.

Pretty different standards between early last gen and this gen scores.

Killzone 2 was 2009 and came out after CoD 4: MW, Resistance 1 & 2 and Bioshock. It's harder for an FPS to get high scores compared to an open world game.

I said 90 and it got an 88, thats great just 2 points away from my score and it seems those 3 mixed reviews must be keeping it away from the score i predicted, (heck it would probably get an over 90 score if those 3 mixed reviews werent there), but its OK an 88 is an amazing score.

Now im even more excited for this game.

If i can trust the scores then this will be my favorite Guerrilla game ever, and yeah im pretty sure Killzone 2 got a 91 score but to be honest Horizon looks like something i will enjoy FAR MORE than Killzone.

Exactly!!! I never even enjoyed a far cry game and it's a FPS a genre I usually despise unless it's horror FPS. And to me, Horizon looks phenomenal. Far superior to Far Cry....FAR!!! Seriously, I don't get the Far Cry comparisons at all.

People compare it to Far Cry because you have to climb towers to expose the area around you. You can wield a bow in Far Cry too. Both have skills trees and are open world. I'd be very surprised if Horizon's gameplay is as fun as Far Cry 3's, which also had a decent multiplayer.
