If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

It will be as awesome as past zelda games!

Pocky Lover Boy!

What is with the huge votes for 60% or under?

Pocky Lover Boy!

It is a Zelda game... so it will get 10/10 ratings from a lot of websites by default, no matter what.

Polarized, some will love it others will find fault for that sweet, sweet clickbait cash.

And I say that as someone that doesn't even like Zelda, and won't be buying it despite buying a Switch, While I don't like Zelda games I won't deny that many of them are exceptional games, with that said, I'm also fully aware that the games review industry thrives on ad revenue, and will either overpraise a game (that fanboy click), or overcriticise (that rageclick) because being honest and informative doesn't keep the office lights on.

+90 on da Metaz guaranteed (I say 96), even a game like Skyward Sword (least liked and most unmemorable 3D Zelda game) managed it, but unlike SS it will def deserve it I feel.

Critics seem to be a little more conservative with their scores these days. I think it will land somewhere between 90-93. It definitely looks a lot better than Skyward Sword though.

It needs to be a home run for Nintendo but I think a few sites will go out of their way to hate it just for ad revenue and site traffic.

Its easily going to be 95+.Its more of a matter if it can reach up to OOT status or get close to it.Personally speaking, this is the game that seems it can surprass it, but we will see.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

There is a very high risk involved when changing a well-working formula and transforming the game into a Skyrim clone with Xenoblade X style empty worlds and a potentially boring and restrictive mission system. If you take out everything what makes Zelda great (dungeons, signature items) and replace it with breaking weapons and a physics engine, a lot can go wrong. So I really hope that Zelda will score above 80, else I will cancel my preorder.

In my opinion, a rating above 95 can be ruled out for sure because Skyrim is a 5 year old game but still provides better graphics and a much more alive world loaded with tons of content. Skyrim has much more content in its smaller world than Breath of the World can offer in its larger but empty environments. And content-density counts.

how is the world of Xenoblade X empty?

and you said the world of botw is empty before the game release?

I am not sure if you are serious or just trolling

Skyrim is my all time favorite game (with PC mod), but i have faith that botw will surpass it.

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language

The reason for a below 80 rating could be that it is not a Zelda game and does not play like one. According to earlier rumors there could also be a lack of story and content besides the 100 uninspiring mini dungeons.
