zorg1000 said: Nope, if anyone is cherry picking it is you. The basis of your post I quoted is that PS4 is selling while lacking major hits, which is simply not true as almost every game I listed is a mulitmillion seller. Being a new IP is not a valid argument as Destiny, Watch Dogs & The Division have each sold over 4 million on PS4 and Bloodborne, Overwatch, Dying Light have each sold over 2 million on PS4. To pretend those arent system movers is cherrypicking. You also said it has one or two stellar older IP, again that is false. Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Assassin's Creed, Madden, FIFA, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy, Need for Speed, Street Fighter, Fallout, Battlefield, Far Cry, Tomb Raider, Batman Arkham were some of the biggest games of last generation. You also said none of Sony's first party games have made an appearance, again a false statement. Uncharted, Last of Us, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, InFamous are some of Sony's biggest 1st party IP and are on PS4 while Bloodborne & Bloodborne are big new 1st party IP. That's why I'm saying your post is nonsense, PS4 has a ton of mulitmillion selling franchises. Obviously it still has some major system movers yet to release like the ones you previously listed but to pretend PS4 is lacking in the system movers department is nonsense. |
Relax.....
The basis of my post isn't to say the PS4 isselling without major hits.
Its to say that there are still some really big hits left to come. And as such may not have peaked just yet.
And that statement holds through with sony first party and tird party.
Basically, I'm saying this gen still has not yet got a GT, GoW, GTA6, RDR2. All games that (maybe with exception to GoW) have the potential of pushing a lot of hardware as they have always been knwn to do in the past.
