Well if it was based on the early version of Warren Ellis Project that never got off the ground it centres around the events of Castlevania 3, however this project was never made, and could have nothing to do with the series being announced.
I'm relatively hopeful for this. I think TV series adaptation is possibly something that should be considered more as a first option for VG adaptations than movies.
