I can play PS4 games on the go.  I can do it with my laptop.  I don't need a Vita

The Playroom uses the HD rumble.

Vita exists and has more games than the 3DS ;o

Lol The Playroom uses rumble, not HD rumble. The technology in the DS4 isn't nearly as advanced as the one in the joycons. If we'd compare it with resolution the DS4 would be 540p and the joycons 720p or more. ;) And lol if a tech demo is all you can come up with than your argument isn't very strong.

Keep digging though. The PS4 still can't play games on the go. ;) Your laptop can.

3DS has better games than the Vita, hence why many more people bought it. Not that it actually has anything to do with this discussion.

I mean...that's all Nintendo could come up with...

But seriously though, are you really comparing HD rumble and an NFC chip reader to features like media apps, a web browser, intergrated voice chat, a headphone jack in the controller...You know, features people just assume a system released after 2012 would have...

It's not about people wanting the Switch to be just like the Xbox One and PS4, it's about the Switch missing really obvious features.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Who says it doesn't have integrated voice chat? I'd wait for Nintendo to actually unveil its online service before claiming that.

And no, 1-2 Switch isn't all they came up with. Arms uses the HD rumble as well as will many future Nintendo games. The Switch isn't out yet, while the PS4 is in its 5th year already and the only thing you can come up with is a tech demo... These list wars are really desperate if you're going to count shit like that. It's the same as claiming that the PS4 can play games on the go... No, it can't. You need a Vita or laptop and constant internet access for that to work. I find it funny that Sony fans love to bring this Remote Play feature up yet they mock Nintendo for apparently handling voice chat through smart phones. Oh, so now using a second device doesn't count anymore? Hah, double standards at its finest.

And don't try to claim that the portability of the Switch isn't a big deal because it is.

And I'd rather have HD rumble over features almost nobody uses and can be easily added through updates (web browser, media apps).

You'd assume everyone in 2017 has a wireless headphone and isn't still using headphones with wires... They're not exactly expensive anymore... And if you're really that desperate for a headphone jack at least the Switch itself has one for portable mode.

You are more than welcome to  believe the Switch will have intergrated voice chat...but everything Ninteno has said points to it only being in the app.

You're still totally missing the point. This has nothing to to with the Switch vs. any other system. The Switch at launch is going to be missing several key features that most people assumed it would have. Somebody who wanted to use their Switch to watch Netflix, or use wired headphones while in TV mode, don't give a shit if you like HD rumble.

The PS4 and PS4 Pro also missed a lot of key features at launch. Some games even ran worse on the PS4 Pro at launch.

This is the same for every console at launch. New features and improvements are always added later on. You guys are just making a mountain out of a molehill. 99.99% of the people already have something they can watch Netflix on. So yeah, I don't give a shit about the Switch not having a Netflix app at launch and neither does anyone else (besides people who aren't going to buy the Switch but love complaining about it).

Take a look at the Sony Discussion section, there's a thread about the PS4 Pro "Beast" mode. Should have been there from the start. Obviously Sony rushed the PS4 Pro. /s

I'm going to refer you to a scenario I described earlier in this thread.

Person A: "Man, I don't like it that the Switch doesn't have ___."

Person B: "Yeah, But I don't care about that thing, so it doesn't matter."

Person A: "Well...but I do, and it sucks that it doesn't have it."

Person B: "God! Would you stop attacking the Switch! It's not like you were ever going to get one!"

Just because you don't care about a missing feature doesn't mean it doesn't matter to someone else.

You just don't like hearing about peoples issues with something you're excited for.

"A lot"

I agree that it shouldv been included during launch. But sony provided alternative aka performance mode during launch.

So what do you mean by "missing a lot of key features"?

No, I don't like people complaining about stuff that doesn't matter to anyone in the real world. Complain about the price of the accesories, or the fact that 1-2 Switch isn't bundled in, because those are actually legitimate complaints.

Not having a Netflix app or headphone jack isn't a problem in this day and age.

Not having a dedicated gaming console is also hardly a problem in this day and age
