So BB,W3 run basically the same. So much of this Amateur.

I think the W3 is a perfect example of a developer doing longer term support for the game that they had made it pretty stable and doesnt need the pro (i.e to make it better they would need to make an actual pro patch).

Unfortunately many games dont run as well on PS4 as people notice...

Bad framerate on PS4 is more a urban legend than a truth.

Urban legend = somebody in the internet for example said that games X runs badly and everyone think it runs badly even if they do not play the actual game and the game runs well in reality.

Sure, the lack of Pro patch for BB,W3 etc is biting in the butt badly.

I played through the entirety of Witcher 3 on my Pro, only issues I had were weird glitches that never got fixed by CDPR. (Inability to dive or climb into a boat when in water a few times, once I loaded my game & meditated to find myself in eternal bullet time - looked cool with the falling snow at least, a corrupted save, sound going wonky during a quest, etc..) Frame rate seemed pretty stable as-is.

especially the 3rd video shows pretty well, that many fps problems on the PS4 are CPU related and in those cases boost mode can show really nice gains - if however there is GPU related drops boost mode doesn't improve things that much, as it only uses 18 CUs @ 911MHz

but the fact that some CPU related fps drop show up even at PS4 pro clock makes me think that if Scorpio still uses Jaguar cores at a few MHz above PS4 Pro, then what it can achieve is pretty limited although it has a ~6TF GPU and more RAM etc

Some of these games, I've never had a problem with but if they run even better, who am I to complain?

As I said W3 Doesnt need a Boost patch because they supported the game extremely well, EG say exactly the same thing. I put in Fallout to install on my pro and that was upto Patch 12.... these games will be stable and in most cases the Pro wont make them any more stable (though in FO example they've made a Pro patch).

Many games have drops and the Pro boost mode will help with those, but if the PS4 version of the game was stable with very little drops.... i.e the W3, then its not going to make much difference.

Now if CD red went back and added a Pro Patch, it would probably have better AA, better draw distance and probably better fade in of objects, but they havent and wont.

Any info or some rumors about 4.50 update release date?

Yeah, except for loading times in W3.

The Scorpio also has 4x the L2 cache. That's a big CPU boost even if it is using Jaguar at the same clock rate.

I can't believe Just Cause 3 still runs poorly even on boost mode. Some devs should really hold visuals back in favor of better performance. Gee... I can't imagine how bad it is to play it on the original PS4/XB1.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
