It does look good, from what I've seen so far.  I'm not crazy about side-scrolling but that might be a minor complaint if the game is well designed.

I mean Final Fantasy X-2 had a female singer main character, close enough. There's your female idol Final Fantasy. As much as I enjoyed Final Fantasy XV, I would like them to take it back to its roots a bit for FFXVI. It needs another FF9 approach.

This is playing out exactly like FFXIII.
That had a load of apologists who thought they liked it then realised it was shit.
FFXV is a travesty, it doesn't deserve 1 million let alone 5.
We've been waiting for years for a proper FF after that Lightening saga, and this (should have seen it coming) makes that look great.
Just like FFXIII made FFX look great.
The wait gets longer the game gets more shit.

Didn't i read a forum that SEnix spent 600million dollars on development??????? Doesn't that mean it needs to sell 10 million to break even?

FFXV is the first FF game I have started but not completed, I finished FFXII and XIII even though they where not my favorite Final fantasy's there was enough there to keep me going to the end but after FFX I have found myself getting less involved with each subsiquent game to the point That like pokoko and Ka-pi96, I too feel like Final Fantasy is no longer for me , it won't matter anyway FF will sell because it's FF and it creates it's own hype, so to FF I say see ye awl.

What you should be wondering isn't whether you read that or how much it was stated that SE spent on development but the quality of the source. Did it come straight from SE? Was it simply a rumour? If it's the latter, it's not worth even brining it up because you may end up spreading misinformation.

Not even GTA V costed that much, and it costed atronomical 250 million USD. And if it was the case, I`m sure S-E would be bragging about how they have teh most expensive game ever.

8m would be fantastic 

The only thing i know is that i will buy it in ps4 version when it's on 20-30 euro price range. :P
