Ohhh gawd... it's Sewer Shark all over again, except in space! 😐
Silly M$, just give up already. 😏
Folks are quick to jump into anti-MS mode without properly assessing the videos.
This isn't a Microsoft game, just one that uses Microsoft Cognitive Services technology.
This game looks neat, more experiences like this and i'd pick up an Oculus Rift.

The PC has supported voice-recognition for the last 20-odd years. |
Astra is a bit more than simple voice commands. You can query a database using natural language, for example ask the AI for details about stars. Btw in the video they show the same hack-and-bolt solution, except now the devs do it. Enter a bunch of phrases the game can recognize at one point and tie it to the next event for the game.
Starship Titanic is 1998 let you have sort of mini conversations with the AI (in text). It would be cool if a more advanced version of a system like that was connected to speech recogniztion. It was quite cool you could refer to what you were talking about with words like 'that' etc.
Isnt title misleading if as alot are saying this isnt a Microsoft game?
Title should be updated if its factually wrong
This is one of the coolest things i've seen so far in VR
Looks a bit like a telltale experience but with voice and in VR, graphics look good 2! :D PC vr is expensive tough

Is that all you do? It would be groundbraking if it ws an actual game where you could play regularly and at any point say a comand and open a menu and do what ever and interact with the world. This is no diferent than a tell tale game. You might have more choices, but I bet they will be meaningless and just a few branches no matter what you say.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
