Hello, I am VGChartz User, Nintation! Coming to you with another awesome Thread! Now I was going to make this a Top Ten countdown list, but in matter of fact... There's LESS than 10 Switch games I'm excited for. But thats not a bad thing since this is only first year of games. Soooo let's get to it!
9) Project Sonic: I added this game last because I don't know if I'll get this on Switch. If I have a PS4 Pro at the end of the year, why not enjoy the higher resolution?? I don't mind Sonic games on PS4 or XB at all.
8) Lego City Undercover: This game I was planning on getting at the end of Wii U's life cycle. But since it's getting a remake on a better console.. Why not?
7) Fast Racing RMX: I really enjoyed Fast Racing Neo and it's DLC, so I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy this one! I hope this sells better so the online experience can be better! Who knows, maybe this game will prevent me from buying PS4 Pro's 4k title Wipeout Omega Collection.
6) Arms: This game looks really great! and that's coming from a person who dislikes Motion Controls. This looks fantastic and looks like it'll be successful! Online mode? fun, simple motion controls? fun, the gameplay? looks totally fun! I have a good feeling about this new IP! btw, add Slinky Lil Mac on it!
5) Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Sooo this could be ranked much higher WHEN I play the first Xenoblade. Once I get my hands on the original Wii copy (or download it), we'll see if XC2 will be ranked higher, I'm pretty sure this game will be as good as the first Xenoblade game.
4) Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: I played the hell out of this game on the Wii U. I know I am getting this eventually but not right away. The main reason I want this, is because my bestfriend who never owned a Wii U is getting the Switch! Wellllll he owned a Wii U for like 2 weeks and sold it right away, he never made a Nintendo account so we never got to play. Playing online with my homie? DAMN THAT'S GOING TO BE FUN.
3) Super Mario: Odyssey: This is the most popular Switch title that was announced at last months Switch presentation. Mario has always been in my heart and OFCOURSE I'll be excited for this. This is the most interesting Mario title to date for me! 3D Land, 3D World, Galaxy 2 were games like "Oh great! a new mario game! time to have fun!" but with Odyssey, it's like "What is this? A city? woah! Real humans? wow!" It's a great twist!
2) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: You guys all seen this coming right? It says in the title that it's not number 1, Odyssey came in number 3, so it HAD to be 2nd. I played all 3D Zelda games and man they were awesome! Breath of the Wild is the most exciting game since GTA V. As a Zelda lover, you know I'm for sure excited for this! This could've been number 1, but the delays ruined the excitement for me. When I finally play this game it WILL have a larger impact than my number 1 game on this list. I can't wait for the temples, music, story. I could cry! FINALLY Zelda Breath of the Wild is completed and will get released in a few weeks! I'm in for a Masterpiece!
Honorable Mentions: Ummm, I didn't even have enough games to make this thread a Top Ten list! LOL, okay. Moving on!
1) Splatoon 2: WHOOMY! Imma dubstomp ya face! I LOVE SPLATOON OO MUCH. And i'm soooo excited for Splatoon 2! When they showed gameplay on the Switch reveal trailer I screamed, when it was announced as a sequel I cried, like wow! Thank you so much Nintendo! i'll play this for hours, and love every secon of it! I am expecting this game to be better than the Original with better everything. When Splatoon 2 releases THAT will be the day I'll get a Nintendo Switch..
..... if I really think about it. Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 are tied for the number 1 spot.
