The only thing you're missing by not getting the Switch version (and by extention, the 3DS one) which are both a paid option is some revoked 3D graphics and an extra story. Everything else you have it on that link. Do yourself a favor and play it; it's amazing.

Thanks for sharing! I'm hesitant to go through with it since I like supporting developers that make products I like with my money.

The author never intended for the game to be priced (at least until the 3D version came), so don't worry about it. You can always repurchase it later if you feel like playing the extra content, so it's a win-win situation.

Is Disgea 5 worth $60 if you've never played any of the other ones?

I'm going to have a pretty massive drought of games until Splatoon 2 or maybe ARMS comes out it looks like. Yeah MK8 is ok, but I already played that a lot on the Wii U.
