Nope. I don't buy DLC.

I reluctantly did. The GameStop employee girl talked me into it

They offer it at gamestop?

with any game with a season pass. "hey, would you like to also purchase the season pass?"

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

I bought it though I usually don't buy these. I did get the game for $30 on an amazon deal so I figured the cost of the season pass wasn't too outrageous since I didn't spend $60 initially. I just beat it, threw 115 hours into it. For as much as I liked it, they screwed up a bunch of stuff. Still way better than 13.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I skipped.

I didn't and I'm not intending to. I don't generally like buying things at full price, and that hits DLC even harder. Even if I was willing to make an exception for good DLC, it wouldn't help here: the episodes don't sound interesting at all. I just don't think they can add much to the story, and I don't really care about the characters that much. They're a really good team (as much as I hate Prompto), but they're not that interesting individually.

I think the whole point if there episodes is to make them more interesting,  seen as we don't know much about them aside from what was shown in the anime.

I am wondering whether I should get this myself. I have the normal game. I dont yet know what the whole pass includes though. Im weary of these passes since Ubisoft wore me out from buying them unless I get the gold editions of their games when they drop in price. Tell me if you like what you saw from your pass, PSN is down right now so I cant pick up the pass just yet.

To be honest. The amount of shit that is promised DLC wise (Free + Paid) puts it heads and shoulders above anything Ubisoft has done. I'll also add that I've only bought DLC for 3 Games in my life. ME 2/3 and The Witcher, from a value point I see FFXV having more in common with these games then anything Ubisoft level.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Well, it's Square Enix's fault the characters are not interesting enough for me to be interested even in the DLC. They just seem so regular people (in a way). I might end up getting some DLC later, but I'm definitely not interested in the season pass.

I did not.
And now that I have finished the game I see absolutely no reason to buy it.

Did they cut out parts of the story just to be selling dlc? The anime was very interesting and the movie as well. The games' story... not so much.
Maybe if they tell Nyx's story, I might reconsider.

only bought the basic version but i'll buy the dlc expansions as soon they're available for preload.
