I predict switch will do well the first couple weeks and then itll drop to sub 30k levels. At least the wii u had decent 3rd party support and free online. Switch does not..

I predict sales will be low enough for nintendo to come up with a 3ds successor and switch will sell worse than wii u.

I think 15 million is the maximum the switch well sell. We will see soon!

I also predict that Microsoft will finally make a good exclusive!

you have said aone questionable things lately but this one takes the cake

After the success of Pokemon Go, you can't tell me they haven't at least considered it. Maybe not this year, or the next, but what about 4 years from now? Back in 2012 people swore up and down Nintendo would never make games for smartphones, yet here we are.

The game that caused people to go out and buy seperate hardware to play mainline Pokemon games is your evidence towards mainline Pokémon possibly going mobile? That makes no sense.

Most Pokemon Go players didn't buy Sun & Moon, much less get a 3DS to do so.

Nintendo is diversifying, and mobile offers a bigger userbase than their own devices can.

"Hey look!!!!! Pokemon Go caused 3DS and Pokemon sales to increase and Sun/Moon are our most pre-ordered games ever!!!!"

"..............Put the next mainline title on mobile"

What you are saying makes no sense.

Pokemon 2017 and 2018 will be on 3DS, but by the time the 2019 version rolls around 3DS will be dead. At that point, I can see them going mobile.

I dunno, I have my doubts the Switch will pull Nintendo out of their rut, but I think it'll do better then the Wii U (even if only marginally).

Not a chance. Look at the analytics. The only console that has had a higher search peak on Google pre-launch was the PS4. Whether the Switch will have great legs is yet to be seen, but a full, mainline 3D Mario and a new Zelda in year one means the Switch will most likely eclipse the Wii U's lifetime numbers in 2018.
