The switch has the same flaws than the Wii U, low third party support, unpowered hardware, it can't really move casuals, and Nintendo is unable to produce HD titles in large quantities. But when the Wii U started, Nintendo was full of cash, the market leader, they had a free network, and they started a year ahead... now they are dealing with an after saturn-like scenario, and they are facing the massive PS4 market and the price drops to come.

The only positive thing would be if the switch is considered as an handled console and if that matters, and I don't think it will. Because of its price, the development costs, the battery and the smartphone market, it will not sell like the handled used to.

So, I agree with the OP, it will fail slightly harder than the Wii U.

Games sells hardware.
If Nintendo can put Exclusive Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Monster Hunter on the Switch, then that looks more attractive than the Wii U! Dont forget we are already getting a BRAND NEW ZELDA ON DAY1! How about the Mario fans! Mario Odyssey is getting postive feedbacks on it with just that trailer! I can see the Splatoon fanbase to get bigger! Same with Fire Emblem!

On the way to work, break, lunch, break, on the way home, etc.  Things I do with my vita that generally require more than 3 hours of battery life.  And no I wouldn't want to have to charge it at work.

Sorry but it is a problem.

That doesn't mean i'm not going to buy one, it just means im not going to waste my time trying to use it like I would a normal portable.  It just doesn't meet my needs that way.  I'll strictly use it as a home console.

I don't see how charging it/turning it off while you're working and still playing it on the way to/from work and during break is such an issue?
