Picked it up last night and played through 5-6 missions. So far it's looking pretty good!

I'm hoping it doesn't get too brutal where it will force me to pay for items or what not (I have never paid for stuff like that yet and I don't plan on it)

So for the people that downloaded it what do you think so far?

Yeah, it has been a lot of fun so far. Pretty addicting!

I'll agree that the triple download up front it pretty rough, but once you get going there's a cool little game here.

Yeah I was a bit shocked with that, thankfully I was playing while at home and still on wifi and didn't have to delay. Once you get past that though it's been pretty good! You start with a ton of stamina and it seems to refill really fast (not that I've even came remotely close to using it all yet). I'm guessing later on each level might take 5+ stamina but even then you can still play 10 levels at a time.

The first video was a waste of time, bandwidth and space on my mobile. Haven't seen if you can delete it, but you can rewatch it.

I already posted my initial impressions in the release thread: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=225506

Here's a repost

The beginning story of Heroes was a bit hard to follow, not sure if it was the spanish translation (saw some typos) or having little backstory to FE realms/worlds. Reached Chapter 5 yesterday with the original team and no big hurdles to get there, specially since dying has no penalty in the story.

I think I'll just play the story and be done with it, but I might stick around and do some random battles for entertainment.
Also did my first summons but nothing out of the ordinary came out.

Are we sharing our FEH IDs here?

Yes, 10 minutes ago lol

There was a lot of stuff to download but everything went really fast, the game is well optimized and it looks pretty well, the gameplay is fun, is another Fire Emblem after all, my first impression is pretty good.

the amount of downloading so early on is really off putting.

all i can say is that while the sprites are cute, they come across as kind of cheap looking at the same time.

For a free game this one doesn't look cheaply done at all, the sprites are simplistic but the character models, the music, the intro, the smoothness even on average smartphones, it looks and sound pretty well.

Got it yesterday, I have played through about 5-to-6 chapters, on normal, tried hard but got my butt handed to me, so I decided to level up a little before that. Tried a few pvp matches. Haven't really had any problem with stamina but I'm finally getting to the point where it is going down a little faster. They did a good job at making a FE map bite sized and "quick" to play.

Well it is free. And it is to make people get interested in FE Games on the 3DS and the upcoming Switch games. Once they see the 3DS footage, they will be surprised how GOOD it looks (The model of the characters) and how in depth it is compared to this free app.

Played up to Chapter 2, and I'm enjoying it. Plays a lot simpler than traditional FE, which is fine, given the intention behind this. My biggest gripe so far is that I keep placing my units to adjacent to enemies, expecting to have an action menu so I can attack, but will automatically end my turn instead. Not really used to placing my units over enemies in order to fight.
