The election of Trump as President is a huge blow to freedom and democracy in the USA. 4 to 8 years of living under the tyranny of a Trump regime will be on par with living under the worst tin pot dictators of all time. The unpredictability and volatility of a a Trump government will leave the US and the world on edge for the next  4 to 8 years. Hopefully Trump gets booted out after 4 years and saves America and the world from another 4 years of living under the nightmare of Trump.

What has he done that's so wrong? The only unpredictability and volatility I'm seeing is coming from the Left. I'm astonished the Right hasn't responded yet but you can bet when they do the media will be outraged.

He's undermined democracy, and he's also happily continued an executive order on immigration despite a federal judge finding it unlawful (i.e. he's acting against the law).

He is right. Milo is indeed a real scumbag.

Intel Core i7 8700K | 32 GB DDR 4 PC 3200 | ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming | RTX 3090 FE| Crappy Monitor| HTC Vive Pro :3

To be honest, Milo wasn't there for civilized conversation and debate, he was there to verbally insult people. And he got shut down. You want civilized debate? Be civilized.
Trump's threat towards Berkeley U is more worrying.

Not all uncivil activity are equal. Rioting causes more damage than verbal insults, especially considering what the rioters did in the campus...

I'm a socialist but even I know when something needs to be done, even if it goes against my leftist credentials. We've got to be careful not to conflate idealism with reality. I would imagine Trump's immigration policy is in some way shaped by what's happening in Europe at the moment. In Luton (UK) for instance, there are now Sharia law zones were Muslims (not extremists) are stopping people in the street and telling them they can't dress in a particular way or they can't carry alcohol in the streets because 'this area is a Sharia law area'. They are marching through the streets with banners declaring Britain is theirs. In other parts of Europe it's much worse. It just seems to make sense to me to make sure this doesn't happen in other countries and the only way it can be prevented is to have strict border controls until a better system can be put in place. It's just sensible but unfortunately it can also look insensative.

Yawn, I remember the same things in 2008 when Obama won just a bit smaller in size. I don't agree with it but I can understand why there a group of people that believe democrats should be anti-trump no matter what.

For 8 years the republicans was anti-Obama no matter what he did and they were rewarded with the house, senate and presidency so it not surprising there a group of people that want to try the same tactic on the other side.

It very simple no matter who fault it is or if it beyond any one control even, the party in power always going to get the blame from people when there lives get worse.

In the end most people are short sighted and vote how they feel at the time of the election. if most people feel there lives have been better under trump in 2020 he will win reelection if not he will loose.

All the other issues make all the noise, get all the media attention but the true idealog are the minority, most votes are purely base on selfish ground of self interest (which is fine, I just wonder sometime if people a bit short sighted and what they think in there best self interest is not reality at least in the long run)

Undermining democracy is a much more severe problem than what you're describing, no matter how you spin it. Also, that's an integration problem, not an immigration one - if it's even true. Such serious claims require evidence. Do you have any reliable evidence to back up your claims?

>Says it's CNN

>Clearly says TheAtlantic in the link

But I'd say it's as legitimate as any proof you have of their existence besides stories you hear off of your Facebook links. They aren't real
