Just gonna repost this here. While it might not have the highest quality assets, the super realistic designed environment makes more than up for it. Also considering the comparably small team that is achieving this.

HZD..... hard to fathom what beast that in graphics and art direction combined this year. Not even RDR2.

Assuming Rockstar doesn't downgrade from the reveal trailer, I feel like RDR2 will be the graphics king for 2017, though Horizon is pretty darn gorgeous as well, and I suspect SW Battlefront 2 will also be a real looker.

Speaking of graphics, anyone else disappointed by Mass Effect? I think it might actually look worse than Bioware's last game, Dragon Age: Inquisition, which released more than 2 years earlier. Not only does it seem to lose out to DA: I, the graphics seem to be behind DICE's Frostbite engine games (BF1, SW Battlefront) which target a more demanding 60 fps as opposed to Mass Effect's 30 fps target, which makes the defeat really sting.

So far it looks like Horizon has it, but looks to be a sad ass year for graphics TBH lol.

I will say Star Citizen on pc if its released this year or else Horizon will be the king.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm rooting for Super Mario Odyssey!

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

The thread title clearly says 2017 and not 2013. Some people...

Horizon looks amazing. So looking forward to it. A bit bummed I don't have a 4k TV and a PS4 Pro but it still looks gorgeous on the standard model PS4.

In general, a bit of color goes a long way to make a game look pleasing in my opinion. Horizon does a great job here.

If graphics includes art style I'm going to have to go for Zelda. I love Cel Shading a lot so, any game that is Cel Shaded immediately gets my attention.

Otherwise I'd probably have to say Mass Effect. Galaxy hype

I've seen this one, though I wonder, does it release in 2017?
