Switch is Wii U successor only.True 3DS successor is hinted at.Yay!

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima says that he’s thinking about a successor to the popular Nintendo 3DS system. Kimishima believes there’s still a market for one despite the ever growing popularity of mobile devices. The Nintendo 3DS continues to do well for Nintendo so that’s something he and the development team are looking into.

If the Switch fails, it might happen.

If they go through with it it will cannibalize the Switch. Besides, I thought that one of the selling points of the Switch would be that you'd be able to get every Nintendo game in one place?

Im guessing it will have:
- Switch Graphics
- Dual Screens
- No HD Rumble

So a Switch Mini.

This will happen only if the Switch fails really bad (which imho won't be the case)

Wont' have switch graphics, be a gimped switch that plays the handheld focused Switch titles, more inline with a switch slim.

No reason for a 3DS successor anymore. That is the Switch already.

If Nintendo decides to continue "supporting" 2 different markets they are not going to do good. Switch needs to be their only focus from now on. A Switch mini that shares the same games is the only handheld that could help them.
