Can't wait to see your Svennoj, Your Uncharted 4 shots were artful and I know you're a stickler for photo mode. Let me know how you intend to transfer/share? What was the best way for UC4? I may need to buy a USB stick.

The proper way to do it is to set the ps4 to output png files and hopefully HZD will make 4K screenshots on the pro without needing a 4K tv. (I could with Infamous First light and R&C). Copy them to a USB stick and upload to imgur. Yet if I'm feeling lazy, upload to facebook and link directly. (compressed 1080p jpgs unfortunately)

It's going to be a shock to go to HZD from this

Hopefully enough to forgive it not being in VR!

Couple more hours till I pick up the game (car needs to be serviced, good excuse to kill time at the gamestore while waiting) yet probably won't be playing it until tonight.

What really gets me, is just how visually far beyond any other open world game this is. It's not even close on consoles. Some open world games from the past few years look almost a generation apart in comparison. 

GG are truly wizards.

Gameplay and running on the Vanilla PS4. Even the 'cutscenes' are in-engine. Nothing is pre-rendered.

Jesus-Goddamn-Christ. That is truly breathtaking. I'd expect a bunch of performance issues to come along with it but the reception seems to indicate very little performance issues. This is gonna be hard to top.

Only played it for 2 or 3 hours today, after getting it a day early in the UK

Only took one shot, nothing special.

That's a psvr game on ps4 pro! Actually a port from HTC Vive http://store.steampowered.com/app/497460/
The difference dropping down to 2D 30fps makes. (Plus thousand times the budget no doubt)

I've got the game, ready to install and patch while my kids play Minecraft snore mode.

The only thing that bums me out in horizon is the water effects. There is literally no interaction between the water and anything around it(when you or an object moves around it). Not even a simple texture effect. It looks like everything is just clipping through a translucent object. I guess it was a necessary sacrifice.
