I thought Killzone 3 was a good direction for the series as 2 lacked environmental variety. It still had awesome level design and better pacing than Killzone 2 and was more exciting although less tactical game.
Assassin's Creed 4 was awesome. And I think both Assassin's Creed 3 and 4 were better than Revelations.
