Ninja Gaiden 3 (yes, even razor's edge)

Ninja gaiden was one of my favorite gaming franchises, NG 1 and 2 had incredible gameplay and an amazing sense of mystery, discovery and adventure. Ninja gaiden 3 felt like a dumb parody of previous games, every fight was in a closed room with barriers, explosions all the time, shitty camera and combat, social ryu hayabusa??? wtf... where are the ninpos? where are the items? where are the weapons? where are the puzzles and open levels? Almost felt like they did everything wrong just to fuck with Itagaki. They tried to fix some stuff with razor's edge, but when you play that version you think "man... I miss Ninja gaiden 1 and 2" and then when you think "well, at least the next NG is going to be better..." this happens:

Nioh looks like good old team ninja and hopefully one day Ryu is going to comeback and steal Bayonetta's crown, like he did back in the day with Devil May Cry.

which game broke your heart  and ruined an entire franchise for you?

Bomberman Generations. There hasn't been a good Bomberman game since the Second Attack, and I don't think Bomberman R is going to be changing that. T_T

More than likely Xenoblade 2. I know it's a bit premature, but it just looks SOOOOOOOOO BAD! I'm trying to convince myself to buy a Xenoblade, that should never happen.... EVER!

Steaming pile of shit. Instead of DMC 5 we got this trash heap. Now the DMC series is dead.

Previius 2 posts are dumb. Way too early to judge. People bashed XB for being too anime and XCX for doll faces and ONLY on VGC I seen people hate on XC2. Meh game will be great as Monolith always delievers. Bomberman R. Again not even out yet so we don't know. Also it just looked like a regular Bomberman. No Bomberman Act Zero is the one that killed the franchise.

a teaser trailer of a game in development ruined an entire franchise for you... just think about that for a second.

DOAX 2. I still say the first one was pretty decent.


- edit. I'll add that Just Cause 3 was pretty gross. If there is another one, I'll approach it with caution from the discount bin. JC2 was an all time favorite.
