Not much different at all between the two base consoles, surprising. Also surprised the Pro got such a small boost. Is the PC version underwhelming too? Maybe its just lazy Capcom.

smh........

very very sad logic right there.

Except the PC version looks worse, even if there seems to be a pixel count boost...

Seriously, did anyone compare details (but leave the Pro version out of this)...

They said the PC version is the best visually so I don't know where that came from lol

You don't welcome optional information that can inform buying choice and provide interesting technical details?

Well, comparisons like these are a reminder of something we know. I expect them to stay when the tables are turned. Then we will see if they continue...

Ahhh, I see. Hope so too - it's hardly "system wars" though, this is nothing compared to 6-7 years ago. 4/5 threads were like this but far more opinionated and far less informative.

I don't see why they should stop.

Then the scorpio version will be better than the PS4pro version, whcih will be bettr than the PS4 vrsion, which will be better than the XB1 version.

Then, the scorpio will just be the better 4k console and the PS4 will be the better 1080p console.

Must've been the misleading review I read here...

who's surprised by this? o_O; Not to mention, PSVR is the ultimate console version.

It is the best version console or not.

Meh. I just finished my Xbox One version. The game still looks great, and I don't recall any framerate drops.

That's only cause Sony cashed it in for 1 year lol, PC VR support will come next year, so I can't really say that.

Title of this thread is interesting, the differences (again) are tiny, but PS4 runs "far better"?

Xbox fans didn't like to continue this trend this generation the one the started last generation did they? Why would PlayStation fans do it then. Its upto you to do that when the new console comes out ;)

In that time I will just sit back and enjoy the games on both PS4 and my high end PC and not care too much about graphics resolution and some framerate drops that seem to concern gamers more these days than the games themselves.

It is the best version right now. You can't talk about what the PC version with VR will be when it isn't out yet.

If you want the best Resident Evil 7 experience right now, then you need a PS4 Pro and PS VR for that.
