If the rumors are true about new cpu as well unlike PS4P which is overclock. Basically everything is a upgrade. PS4P has faster cpu, ram but just overclocked, honestly only gpu is upgrade. In Scorpio they are changing everything. Considering the upgrade from Xbone it is a new gen from Microsoft. But the confusing part is they are going for 4K native for Xbone games instead of making exclusive games for it. They can't kill the Xbone and at the same time they can't make exclusive games for scorpio utilizing it power.

Haha yuuuuup! I think what you're saying has a decent chance of being the case, with the Switch. Either way, doesn't really matter, it's not all about the power. I'd say that maybe people holding out for the Scorpio shouldn't pin so many hopes on dat juice either =p Just another thing to get unnecessarily hung up on anyway.

I don't really see 4k becoming big enough to were Scorpio will have a huge effect on the industry. If I were to buy a Scorpio it would only be to get 60fps on games that are 30fps, and even that I don't think will happen with many games. Microsoft has kind of trapped themselves I feel. There's not much value in the Scorpio from what we know. But that could change, who knows.
Is a new gen if we have tons of exclusive games.
But this contradicts the new MS policy, 'play anywhere'.

I suppose it depends on one person to the next, maybe some people loooove the idea of a resolution boost etc. Sounds like you and I are in the same boat though; it's not so high on our radars!
Looking forward to the next game from Moon Studios. First game was a masterpeice.
I believe Scorpio will be the final Xbox. Windows 10 devices will take over the gaming hardware. I dont mind if they push Scorpio Exclusives and abandon the X1. Hope they do.
Pretty disappointing if it is next gen don't you think? Xbox front page sales will reset to zero and then once the Scorpio sells 5 million LTD it will be labelled as the worst selling console of all time.
