Now what was it I was saying the other day about how MS will try to label the Scorpio a next gen console? I wonder if MS will start giving out the numbers again ... ? This is a feeler comment to see what the reaction to it will be. If it goes down well MS will reiterate.

The PS5 Exists.

Xbox One's GPU was 5.5x more powerful than 360's GPU (0.240 Tflops to 1.31 Tflops)

Current generation consoles had big enough GPU upgrade to allow higher resolution and boosted visuals with new demanding games engines.

Scorpio is only aiming for current graphics with Higher Resolutions...

It's not a next gen system, no matter what Windows Central or Biased Ori developers think.

People were complaining about PS4 and Xbox One being underpowered while PS4 had 8 times more powerful than PS3

Do you really think a next gen Xbox would only have 4 times stronger GPU than already slower console this generation which is OG Xbox One?

If Scorpio was Next Gen then we would have the most "undererpowered" generation yet, even more than 8th gen.

It's common sense if you read my post.

1) Microsoft has said they are not aiming for just higher resolution. What devs do is up to them.

2) teraflops and ram are not created equal. 6tf vega gpu(which Scorpio is rumored to have) is far more than 4times as powerful than the Xbox ones gpu. And as far as ram goes it's easy to see ram isn't equal just look at PS4 and Xbox one. They have the same amount of ram(actually Xbox one has more when u factor in esram) but PS4's ram is quite a bit better.

3) You and I have no clue about what CPU they are using

4) we don't have finalized specs on anything. 6tf or more gpu, 320gbbandwith ram or more, 8 core CPU. That is all we know. And seeing as that info was released 18 months or so before the release of the console those numbers could all change. Everything your saying about its specs is speculation. Even me thinking vega is speculation. And just saying 6tf is this much more powerful than X is pointless.
