Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Swedish retailer claims their Nintendo Switch pre-orders have surpassed the PS4.

Translation:

Nintendo - The Comeback Kid

We're only into the month January but 2017 seems to be Nintendo's year. We can already see that the Nintendo Switch has more preorders and better rate than the PS4 release! The initial shipment is already booked, but we recommend that you stand in line for this sought after console, to assure allocation among the shipments that arrive days and weeks after launch.

Discuss. I'm quite surprised at this, considering how expensive the Switch is in Europe.

Isn't it mostly in the UK where people are indifferent towards Nintendo consoles?

Sweden is a Playstation country. Most of Europe is really. France likes Nintendo a lot though, compared to most other European countries.

I'd be far more surprised if that said UK, or North America. I mean, how many preorders is it?

That Little Mac with a joycon.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

We also know that Gamespot sold out of their 500K pre-orders pretty quickly in North-America.

Is this the same anecdotal data points that propelled the Wii U to sell a shit ton as well?

What's anecdotal about a big retailer revealing that the Switch has surpassed PS4 pre-orders?

I love how people are already spinning this into bad news, lol.

You know Zelda can swing sales right? If this launched without it, I doubt it'll do as well. It's good it's doing well, but I just don't think it would do as well.

Hmm, pie.
