Wasteland 2 and Divinity: Original sin. Both are fantastic Strategy RPGs you can get lost in for hours on end.

You have a good chance of liking Pillars of Eternity if you like Baldur's Gate and such.

Is PoE F2P or is it an actual game you pay for?

It's an actual game you pay for. It's developed by Obsidian, to give you some idea, and a sequel is being teased at the moment. It seems to be 42€ on Steam right now, so you might want to wait for a sale before grabbing it. Personally I think it's worth the price, but you might want to wait if you're not sure about it. It's a great game but definitely not for everyone.

I think I'm confusing it with a F2P rpg on Steam then.

I'll check it out, thanks!

You're probably confusing it with Path of Exile, which is free-to-play. It's supposedly excellent though, so you might want to try that one too! I haven't tried it myself but at least I've heard it's good.

Divinity: Original Sin is a good game and it's really massive. Some things are a bit rough and unintuitive, though, which actually makes it feel old-school. Hoping the sequel is more polished. Absolutely loved Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age II was a better game in some regards, worse in others.

I'm doing a vampire play-through of Skyrim now using a mod that revamps (hah) and vastly improves the the whole vampire system. I have a vampire castle mod as a home base and it's filled with vampire cattle that I added via console commands.

Daggerfall brings back some bad memories. It used to make me motion sick and give me terrible headaches.

Oh ya, forgot about Dragon Age - I should play that - I wonder if I'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Mass Effect.

@OT - Would anyone recommend Vampire Masquerade or w/e its called? I heard its a good game, whats ya'll opinion on it?

Well ... Dragon Age: Origins was mainly tactical.  At least, the way I played it.  You have several party members that you command.  It plays out in real time but you can pause whenever you like to set things up or change them.  As the series progressed, it became more Mass Effect-ish, with the emphasis going to controlling one party member (if you wanted) but I still played DA II in the "party" view and as a tactical game.

All I know about the Vampire game is that it was unfinished and buggy and most people play it with a huge fan-made patch installed.

Enderal (techincally a Skyrim mod, but a great game in itself.)

If you like classic Diablo style dungeon crawlers / loot fests, I recommend Torchlight 1 & 2.  Lots of fun and the type of game you can jump into, play for a few hours, then play something else for awhile and when you come back to it you can jump right back in.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Can be Steam or even Origin

Dont care how old the game is either - for me gaming is timeless.

Kingdoms of amalur  is pretty good

KoA was such a good game back in 2012. It reminded me of what WoW could have been, had it updated it's combat style and engine while still keeping the cartoonish look to it.

The two gripes I had with the game was the crafting system, which felt lacklustre compared to the loot you'd find. That and that fact you couldn't jump around, though you could climb ledges and jump off them, it felt more like Fable since that game didn't allow you to jump around either.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see
