One of the biggest political topics of the last five years has come to an abrupt end. President Trump used an executive order to withdraw and hence end the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership).

Over the years millions of people over the world have protested against it for various reasons.

Hillary Clinton once called it the "gold standard", Obama pushed for it throughout his years in office.

Personally, the one thing that would make happier about this is if it doesn't reappear in some form in the next 5 or so years.

I'm glad for this, mainly because of what it bodes for TTIP. I have nothing against free trade, but it seemed to be giving too much power to corporations at the cost of nations.

True. But be wary, as Trump himself is a corporate billionaire, and he has filled his cabinet with some of the biggest corporate shills in history. So while he may have ended TPP, there is every chance that something that is even MORE beneficial to corporations, is looming under the guise of "being for the workers".

At least Trump ain't no slouch, he started working hard.
