GfK has FH3 well ahead of Gears 4 LTD in the UK and France. In Germany FH3 is also ahead of Gears 4 going off of the BIU awards.

Gears 4 is definitely ahead in NA, but FH3 had a stronger launch month with NPD than expected and likely had a good second month too.

It generated more money than Dead Rising 4 last month, a game that sold ~315k copies. I guess the average price for FH3 is less than DR4.

 

In Europe, it will be the best selling Microsoft game this generation. Its legs were super good in UK. It has a chance of outselling Halo 5 there. In Germany, it reached 100k award a lot faster than Halo 5. In France it is doing good as you said. 

I think FH3 is selling a lot better digitally as well considering the one year difference and PC (Play Anywhere).

Since the first games numbers got adjusted down Forza Horizon 3 could actually become the best selling game in the franchise before the bundles hit the stores.
