Reviews say it's a return to form for the series. Why don't you try the game before trashing it and jumping to those conclusions?

You are entitled to your opinion and i am to mine.

I don't like that style of horror game (psychological horror) and i don't like FPS. I didnt like any of the indie games that have this kind of gameplay either. So... i am 99% sure i won't enjoy this. And i'm throwing the 1% in there just for good measure.

Sure, you're entitled to your opinion. You can dislike first person games and say this type of games isn't for you. But you're trashing the game without even having played it. Calling it a cliché indie horrot despite not really knowing how the game's really feel like (and despite reviewers saying it's doing its own thing, no less). That's where I think you cross the line.

Dude, i'm not trashing it. Where did i trash it? You are making that up.

I disputed that it's a game in the same veins as the predecessors because it clearly isn't. I never once said it was a bad game.

Quite honestly, i don't believe the reviewers, but i believe what i have seen about the game. They failed me many a time. So, theres that.

"I'd rather it was another RE6 explosion fest than this cliché indie horror game."

Coming from you, that's not trashing it?

Coming from me, thats not trashing it. Remember i'm not the one that has an unfavorable opinion of RE6, you are (presumably). RE6 is an explosion fest, but it's fun. I want the series to go more in the direction of revelations and the remakes/originals. This is a completely different direction with a completely different feel.

Maybe saying its a cliché indie game? That depends on what you think about indie games. But its inescapable that that is what it is. Look at outlast and tell me it doesn't draw inspiration from it (or PT for that matter). Theres many of those indie games around... thus: cliché. Would you rather i said, unoriginal? It's the same thing. It's not trashing, it's a verification of fact. I'm criticizing the type of game, not the game itself.

So uh...don't want to read reviews so I don't cop spoilers from an incompetent journo. Does this have any replayability what so ever? As that's a staple of the franchise.

This game + VR is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

My only complaint so far is there's no zombie, just monsters

Just got it. Will be playing tonight

I cant confirm for sure, but there are several instances where i feel like i couldv saved some of the playable chars. And the demo also had a couple endings so the main game might have several branching stories

Cheers for that. Not quite the replayability I was hoping for, but good to know it's not a one and done sort of game.

Don't feed the trolls.
