I actually prefer Filipino hot dogs than American hot dogs. They are much tiner, better texture and taste better. American hot dogs are fatter and plumper, kinda disgusting to me.

As for the OP, no the texture is just gross.

Processed meat like that is very dangerous to your health which is why they taste so good. I much prefer conventional sausages though which I think are a little bit healthier too although hardly ideal.
